Acai Bowl
I love making smoothie bowls on the weekends and one of my favorites is my Acai Bowl. It’s really simple to make and I love getting creative with the toppings.
Acai Bowl
Ingredients
- 2 frozen bananas
- 2 packs frozen Acai
- 1 cup frozen wild organic blueberries
- 1/2-1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk could use coconut or macadamia nut milk
- 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
Toppings
- coconut flakes
- fresh fruit
- cacao nibs
- granola
- almond butter
- honey to drizzle over the top
Instructions
- Add the frozen bananas, Acai and wild blueberries to a high powered blender
- Pour in the nut milk and blend until smooth
- Stir in the honey or maple syrup at the end
- Use a rubber spatula to spread the acai base into a serving bowl
- top with your favorite toppings
- Enjoy!
