Acai Bowl

I love making smoothie bowls on the weekends and one of my favorites is my Acai Bowl. It’s really simple to make and I love getting creative with the toppings.

Acai Bowl

Ingredients

  • 2 frozen bananas
  • 2 packs frozen Acai
  • 1 cup frozen wild organic blueberries
  • 1/2-1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk could use coconut or macadamia nut milk
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup

Toppings

  • coconut flakes
  • fresh fruit
  • cacao nibs
  • granola
  • almond butter
  • honey to drizzle over the top

Instructions

  • Add the frozen bananas, Acai and wild blueberries to a high powered blender
  • Pour in the nut milk and blend until smooth
  • Stir in the honey or maple syrup at the end
  • Use a rubber spatula to spread the acai base into a serving bowl 
  • top with your favorite toppings 
  • Enjoy!
