It is officially fall!! What better way to celebrate the coziest season than with a delicious spiced pumpkin latte! A take the Starbucks classic, this at home latte is equally delicious and won’t disappoint. The best part of this latte is the fresh whipped cream. It is so simple and tastes a million times better than store bought, trust me!
To start, combine the heavy whipping cream, vanilla and powdered sugar. Make sure that the cream is cold, it will whip up a lot faster.
Using and electric or hand held mixer whip the cream on high for about 2 minutes or until there are soft peaks.
Once you have the perfect consistency place the whipped cream into the refrigerator and being making the lattes! To start, combine the whole milk and heavy cream in a saucepan then add in the pumpkin. Make sure you get 100% pure canned pumpkin and not pumpkin pie filling!
Next add in the brown sugar, this latte is pretty sweet so you can add more or less depending on how you like it.
Now this is where the fall flavors come in!! Add in the cinnamon, allspice and nutmeg and vanilla.

Whisk all the ingredients together and place over medium/ low heat. Simmer for about 5 minutes. Be sure to get the mixture hot, but do not let it boil!
While this is simmering, prepare 2 cups of very strong coffee. I like using a french press but brewed coffee works as well.
Add the coffee to the milk mixture and combine.
Now it’s time to serve up the lattes! Pour into your favorite mug and top with the whipped cream.
Sprinkle a little extra cinnamon on top and enjoy!!
