Preheat the oven to 500 degrees
Pat the salmon dry with a paper towel
Drizzle 3/4 tsp of olive oil over each salmon portion
Divide the blackening seasoning evenly and liberally season the top of each piece of salmon
Add another tiny drizzle of olive oil over the top of each salmon portion
Transfer the salmon to a parchment lined baking sheet
Bake at 500 for 12-15 mins (12 mins is med and 15 mins is well)
